ABBYY Won Absolute Brand 2012 Contest
Moscow, 26 June 2012 – ABBYY has won the Absolute Brand 2012 contest for the category of “High Quality Products, Success in Foreign Markets, and Transparency”. ABBYY ‘s openness with the media, high quality products, and international recognition, are credited for earning it the honorary title of “Absolute Brand 2012”.
The annual non-profit Absolute Brand Contest was first held in 2006. Contestants cannot apply to enter the contest, but are nominated by an expert panel composed of preeminent members of the business media. Each expert proposes a list of 10 to 15 of the most outstanding brands/companies from the previous year. The ten nominees winning the most votes are awarded the Absolute Brand title for their outstanding success and skill of creating and promoting their brands.
This year's panel included experts from Vedomosti and Kommersant newspapers, RIA Novosti news agency, and a number of magazines such as Ekspert, Sekret Firmy, Kompaniya, Brand Management, Novosti Marketinga, and The New Times.
