November 7, Moscow. The Forum "Moscow Business Dialog of Shanghai Cooperation Organization" has successfully concluded its work.
Ivan Smolnikov, CEO of ABBYY Language Services, took part in the round table on Development of business cooperation in software tools and online services, where he presented a report on overcoming language differences in order to run and operate a successful business.
The Forum brought together representatives of government bodies, business and expert communities from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as SCO Observer States and Dialog Partners.
The main topics of discussion were the development of IT, Internet communications, e-commerce, exhibition activities, cooperation in energy, youth entrepreneurship, and collaboration between small and medium size businesses.
Ivan Smolnikov spoke about the importance of quality in localizing products for global markets and also about modern language services aimed at overcoming the language barrier in written and oral communication. The report also stressed the need for providing comprehensive language support for major cities (tourist and business centers) of SCO countries.
